caught on 17lb Korda Adrenaline, with a 3 oz pear lead on a Greys 12' 6" 3 lb test curve rod

The fish came from a tree lined margin, 50 yards out and approx 8 foot of water using a blow-back rig.

He caught ten other fish during that week; 63lb, 56lb, two at 50lb, 40lb, 37lb, 33lb, 32lb, 29lb and 27lb

bedlem Nope, I am strictly catch and release for the sport of it..Carp are real workhorses and are known for powerful runs which is a blast to fight. I am not against eating fish, and you are able to eat carp..it is just quality of water dictates quality of fish, so if you have carp in good water they would be fine and perty tasty, bad water and yeah...

carpking Wow!!! Thats impressive! So the key is clean water! Im trying to break 40lb mark, any advice???
