Lake Skegemog (also known as Skegemog Lake, and rarely Round Lake -its former name-) is a Northern Michigan lake located on the border of three counties, Antrim County, Michigan, Grand Traverse County, Michigan, and Kalkaska County, Michigan, with a surface area of 2,561 acres (10 km2). The Lake is attached to Elk Lake and is considered to be part of the Northwest Michigan Chain O'Lakes. The lake is well known for its nature and beauty, along with its fishing. Michigan's record size Muskie (Great Lakes) was caught in the lake in 1984, with a weight of 48.00 lb.
