Another Takeout Breakfast Fishing Report

Got take out breakfast from Dunc's this time, 'cause Friendly's doesn't open 'till 7:00. Put in around 7:00 AM after taking some pics for boater41. Again headed directly to the north end. Tried a few new lures around The Rock and got nothing but weeds from the bottom. Then I put on my favorite lure and came up with a 2 lb largemouth. I threw him back cause if I kept him I would have to stop fishing and take him home and it was only about 8:30. Then the power boats started showing up, and I got nuten. Went back into the REAL weedy section north of the island. There are fish back there, but I just don't have the patience or skill or both to get 'em. Again I drifted with the wind and current and fished my way back to the boat "launch" (no ramp here). Came up empty except for the picture of the 2 lbr. I did get some pics of a red-shouldered hawk in flight, a blue heron, and a pair of ducks.
