A Lakes Region Outing.

Once again I went up to Sawyer lake for more Bass action. Though this time I got a break from the usual routine and hopped into a canoe with some friends and headed over to Shelcamp for the day. Though there was little action, a great time was had by all!

Yet more bass. Catch

Type of Fish: Largemouth Bass
Fish Length (Avg): 14 inches
Fish Length (Max): 14 inches
Bait Type: Lizard Check Prices
Bait Details: Thry just don't stop biting those plastic salamanders.
Location Details: I tried casting all over the dam area this time, sticking a little closer to the surface.

Yellow Perch Catch

Bait Details: There were so many weeds here that pulling a normal lure through simply was not an option. We dropped some worms down hoping maybe a pickerel would latch on. Alas, we draine our supply of worms on these little guys!
Location Details: Just to the east of the little island. The area is a known hangout for Bass and Pickerel, but we got there too early.

Bait Details: The other reason we exhausted our supply of nightcrawlers.
Location Details: Same spot pretty much.
